The fourth game in the simulation series (following Virtual Villagers, Virtual Villagers 2: The Lost Children, and Virtual Villagers 3: The Secret City) continues the story of the tribe of lost refugees on the mysterious island of Isola. The island's chief is worried that life is slowly diminishing on the island and has selected a tribe of explorers to find the source of Isola's troubles. They discover, and inevitably populate, the oldest and most hidden part of the island - the eastern shore. There, they'll uncover mysteries, unravel the story of Isola, and save the Tree of Life.
